A draft Code of Best Practice for the Maintenance  and operation of HVAC Systems has been developed for the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency as part of the Heating. Ventilation and Air Conditioning - High Efficiency Strategy (HVAC HESS). The project is funded under a three-year Cool Efficiency Program which is part of the National Framework for Energy Effieciency (NFEE) stage 2. The draft Code has been developed with the imput of an industry reference group and focuses on cost effective measures which improve HVAC operation and maintenance, delivering increased energy and water efficiencies in new and existing commercial office type buildings.
